Ductless Mini-Splits in Springfield

There’s no duct loss (which eats 20 to 30 percent of the energy in a typical ducted system), and the inverter compressors sip electricity at part load. For homes without any ducts at all, a multi-zone system can replace window units entirely, usually cutting the operating cost within the first year or two.

Sizing still matters. An oversized head short-cycles and leaves the room clammy, so we run the load math on every quote. Installation is typically a single day. We also repair existing mini-splits, including units other companies installed, and a yearly cleaning keeps the indoor heads from growing the mildew smell that humid summers encourage.
